The Hikvision iDS-2CD8V886G0/X2-XZHS(Y) is an advanced DeepinView network camera featuring a dual-channel design with 8 MP resolution on each channel for high-detail imaging in demanding security applications. The camera uses two 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensors and two motorized varifocal lenses with a focal length of 10–50 mm. Each channel provides a horizontal field of view from 40.8° to 9.1°. The camera supports Pan adjustment from -10° to 190° and Tilt adjustment from -5° to 25°, with configurable movement speeds. It delivers excellent low-light performance with DarkFighter 2.0 technology and provides 140dB WDR for clear imaging in scenes with strong backlighting. The camera supports IR, white light, and hybrid IR/white light illumination with a range of up to 100 meters, together with Smart Supplement Light for intelligent illumination control. Advanced deep-learning functions include perimeter protection, intrusion detection, line crossing, region entrance and exit detection, face capture, human and vehicle detection, and detailed face, human-body, and vehicle attribute analysis. Face comparison is supported with up to 10 face libraries and a total capacity of up to 150,000 faces. Additional AI functions include queue management, heat mapping, people counting, people-density analysis, waiting-time detection, and on/off-duty detection. For traffic applications, the camera supports license plate recognition for vehicles and motorcycles in checkpoint scenarios, vehicle attribute detection such as vehicle type, color, brand, and driving direction, as well as vehicle/non-vehicle counting. Blocklist and allowlist management supports up to 10,000 records. Video compression supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264, with a video bitrate of up to 16 Mbps, ROI support, Target Cropping, and up to five video streams. The camera includes a Gigabit Ethernet port, microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC storage up to 512 GB, two built-in microphones, a built-in speaker, audio input/output interfaces, three alarm inputs, two alarm outputs, and RS-485. It supports GPS, Hik-Connect, iVMS-4200, and ONVIF Profile S/G/T/M, along with advanced cybersecurity features including HTTPS, 802.1X, TLS 1.2/1.3, TPM 2.0, and AES128/256 encryption. Designed for outdoor applications, the camera features IP67 protection and NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection for the -Y version. It also includes a built-in heater, wiper, and demist function to help maintain clear imaging in challenging weather conditions.
