The Hikvision iDS-2CD5D87G2/V-XS is an 8MP DeepinViewX fixed-lens dome network camera designed for professional surveillance and perimeter protection. It features a 1/1.8" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 and DarkFighter 2.0 technology for improved low-light imaging. The camera is available with a fixed 2.8mm or 4mm lens. The 2.8mm lens provides up to 108.8° horizontal field of view, while the 4mm lens provides up to 93° horizontal field of view. It provides hybrid supplementary illumination combining IR and white light with a range of up to 40 meters, together with Smart Supplement Light for intelligent night illumination. The camera supports 130dB WDR, BLC, HLC, 3D DNR, Defog, distortion correction, and EIS image stabilization for improved image quality in challenging lighting conditions. Powered by the Guanlan large-scale AI model, the camera supports human, face, and vehicle analysis, as well as perimeter protection functions including line crossing, intrusion, region entrance, and region exiting detection. Hikvision states that its dedicated perimeter protection AI model can reduce false alarms by up to 90% compared with conventional cameras under standard test conditions. Smart event functions include scene change detection, audio exception detection, defocus detection, unattended baggage detection, object removal detection, loitering detection, people gathering detection, fast-moving object detection, and parking detection. Storage supports microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC cards up to 1TB, together with NAS and ANR. Compatible Hikvision memory cards can also support memory card encryption and health detection. Interfaces include a 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port, one alarm input and one alarm output, one audio input and one audio output, two built-in microphones, one built-in speaker, RS-485, and a 12VDC power output. The camera provides IP67 water and dust protection and IK10 vandal resistance, with an aluminum alloy body for demanding surveillance environments.
