The Hikvision iDS-2CD7546G2/P-XZHS(Y) is an advanced 4MP DeepinView network dome camera designed for professional surveillance, license plate recognition, and vehicle analysis applications. It features a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520. DarkFighter 2.0 technology provides enhanced low-light performance, while 150dB AWDR delivers clear images in scenes with strong backlighting. The camera is available with two motorized varifocal lens options: 2.8–12mm or 8–32mm. It features P-Iris and supports Auto, Semi-auto, and Manual focusing. The unique PTRZ function enables efficient Pan, Tilt, Rotate, and Zoom adjustment during installation and configuration. Pan adjustment ranges from 0° to 355°, Tilt from 0° to 85°, and Rotate from 0° to 355°. High frame rate performance reaches up to 60fps at 4MP and up to 120fps at 2MP in monitoring mode, helping capture fast-moving vehicles and objects clearly. The camera supports IR and white-light supplementary illumination with Smart Supplement Light. The monitoring illumination range reaches 40m with the 2.8–12mm lens and 60m with the 8–32mm lens. Deep-learning functions include perimeter protection, line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting detection, with human and vehicle classification to reduce false alarms. Advanced road traffic functions include license plate recognition for vehicles and motorcycles in checkpoint scenarios, vehicle attribute recognition such as type, color, brand, and driving direction, as well as vehicle and non-vehicle counting. Blocklist and allowlist management supports up to 10,000 records. The camera supports license plate recognition across Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and more than 124 countries and regions. Under recommended installation and lighting conditions, license plate recognition accuracy reaches ≥98%, capture rate ≥99%, and driving direction accuracy ≥98%. Vehicle capture speed reaches up to 120 km/h for front installation in checkpoint scenarios and up to 80 km/h for side installation. The camera supports five video streams, H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 compression, video bitrates from 32Kbps to 8Mbps, ROI, Target Cropping, and e-PTZ. Interfaces include Gigabit Ethernet, microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC storage up to 1TB, two alarm inputs and two alarm outputs, two built-in microphones, a built-in speaker, audio input/output, RS-485, and Wiegand. The camera also includes a built-in G-sensor for vibration detection and a power meter for historical power statistics. It supports Hik-Connect, HikCentral, iVMS-4200, and ONVIF. Designed for outdoor applications, the camera provides IP67 protection and IK10 vandal resistance. The -Y version additionally provides NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection for environments requiring enhanced corrosion resistance.
