The Hikvision iDS-2CD7587G2-ZHS/RC is a professional 8MP DeepinView network PTRZ Dome camera specially designed for recessed in-ceiling installation. It delivers high-quality imaging together with advanced surveillance and intelligent analytics capabilities. The camera uses a 1/1.8-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160. DarkFighter 2.0 technology enhances low-light performance, while 140dB True WDR provides clear images in scenes with strong backlighting and high contrast. The camera features PTRZ functionality, enabling electronic Pan, Tilt and Rotate adjustment during installation and maintenance, helping installers efficiently adjust the viewing direction without manually repositioning the camera. The model is available with multiple motorized varifocal lens options: 2.8–12mm, 8–32mm or 10–50mm. It supports P-Iris and Auto, Semi-auto and Manual focus, allowing the appropriate field of view to be selected for each project. High-frame-rate imaging is supported up to 8MP at 60fps, with up to 120fps at 2MP in Monitoring Mode, making the camera suitable for applications requiring smooth motion capture. The camera incorporates Deep Learning capabilities and the HEOP 2.0 open platform, supporting multiple detection and classification models. Intelligent events include line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting detection, with human and vehicle target classification. It supports five video streams and H.265+ compression for reduced bandwidth and storage requirements, together with up to 1TB microSD storage, NAS and ANR. The camera also includes two built-in microphones, audio input/output, alarm input/output and RS-485. A built-in G-sensor detects vibration, while the integrated power meter provides historical power consumption statistics. Designed for demanding environments, the camera features IP67 water and dust resistance and IK10 vandal resistance, with a wide operating temperature range down to -40°C.
