The Hikvision iDS-2CD8A47G0/SC-ZY is a professional 4MP DeepinView bullet network camera designed for outdoor environments requiring high-quality imaging, strong environmental protection and an effective method for keeping the lens window clean. It uses a 1/1.8-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and provides a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440. ColorVu technology helps deliver high-quality color images in low-light conditions, while 140dB WDR improves details in high-contrast and backlit scenes. The camera is available with motorized varifocal lens options of 2.8–12mm or 8–32mm, supporting Auto, Semi-auto and Manual Focus with DC Iris for flexible field-of-view and zoom adjustment. One of the key features is the self-cleaning lens-window system. The camera includes a built-in 2-liter water tank that enables periodic cleaning of the camera window. Hikvision states that the water box can provide up to two years of maintenance-free operation when used according to the specified cleaning cycle. The camera also features a ring-type sunshield that blocks stray light outside the lens field of view and helps reduce dust adhesion. A built-in heater helps maintain clear images during rainy or snowy weather and improves the lens-window decontamination process. Deep Learning capabilities support human and vehicle detection and advanced event analysis, including perimeter protection, ANPR license plate recognition, face capture and multi-target-type detection. The camera also supports specialized tunnel events, including fallen object detection, pedestrian detection, parking detection, congestion detection and construction detection. It supports five video streams and H.265+ compression for reduced bandwidth and storage requirements, together with microSD storage up to 1TB, NAS and ANR. The camera provides IP67 water and dust protection, while the -Y version provides NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection, making it suitable for demanding outdoor and corrosive environments.
