IP-COM CompFi 6 (EW15D) is an AC3000 tri-band cable-free Wi-Fi router offering up to 3000Mbps wireless speed, an independent 1733Mbps backhaul, four Gigabit Ethernet ports with up to three WAN ports, and True Mesh technology for scalable wireless coverage.

The IP-COM CompFi 6 (EW15D) provides a cable-free solution for building distributed Wi-Fi networks without requiring Ethernet cabling between every Mesh node. It uses a Tri-Band AC3000 architecture with 400Mbps on 2.4GHz, 867Mbps on 5.2GHz, and 1733Mbps on 5.8GHz. The 5.8GHz band provides a dedicated 1733Mbps backhaul for communication between Mesh nodes, helping separate inter-node traffic from client wireless traffic. The EW15D supports True Mesh networking with typically five nodes and up to 18 nodes in one Mesh system, with a maximum of three Mesh hops. The device provides four Gigabit Ethernet ports, including one PoE WAN/LAN port, two WAN/LAN ports, and one LAN port, with support for up to three WAN connections. It also includes USB 3.0 file sharing and supports VPN, QoS bandwidth control, guest networking, static routing, DDNS, port forwarding, and UPnP. EW15D also supports Fast Roaming, APP/cloud management, local and remote Web management, Router and AP modes, and AC controller management. IP-COM specifies a capacity of up to 200 wireless clients with video playback under its test conditions.
