IP-COM EW12 is an AC2600 tri-band cable-free Wi-Fi Mesh system featuring True Mesh technology, a dedicated 1300Mbps backhaul link, two Gigabit Ethernet ports with passive PoE support, and flexible deployment for offices, restaurants, and business environments.
The IP-COM EW12 provides a cable-free Mesh networking solution for offices, restaurants, and business environments. With True Mesh technology, multiple EW12 units can automatically discover and connect with each other without requiring Ethernet cabling between every Mesh node. The system uses a tri-band AC2600 architecture with 400Mbps on 2.4GHz, 867Mbps on 5.2GHz, and 1300Mbps on 5.8GHz. The 5.8GHz band can be used as a dedicated 1300Mbps backhaul between Mesh nodes, helping separate inter-node traffic from client Wi-Fi traffic. EW12 features two Gigabit Ethernet ports, including one PoE WAN/LAN port and one LAN port. It supports Router and AP modes as well as QoS bandwidth control, guest networking, fast roaming, VPN, static routing, and local/cloud management. The unit can be wall-, ceiling-, pole-, or desktop-mounted. A Mesh system typically supports five nodes and can reach up to 18 nodes according to IP-COM specifications.
