The Hikvision DS-K1802 is a card reader designed for access control systems. It reads user card information and sends the card data to an access controller through the Wiegand interface. The DS-K1802 series is available in different versions according to the card technology, including EM versions operating at 125 kHz and MIFARE versions operating at 13.56 MHz. The appropriate version should therefore be selected according to the cards used in the access control system. The reader features a compact PC+ABS housing, a built-in audible buzzer for identifying card reading status and a watchdog design to help maintain stable operation. It supports Wiegand 26/34 and provides IP65 protection against dust and water. The DS-K1802 can be connected to access controllers and door systems supporting Wiegand communication, making it suitable for offices, commercial facilities, entrances and controlled-access doors.
