The Hikvision DS-K1109EKFB-QR is a Pro Series access control reader designed to provide multiple authentication methods for door access control systems. It supports EM cards, fingerprint, PIN, Bluetooth and QR codes, allowing single or combined authentication methods depending on the access control system configuration. Hikvision documentation identifies E for EM card, K for keypad, B for Bluetooth, F for fingerprint and QR for QR code functionality. The fingerprint reader supports up to 5,000 fingerprints, while communication interfaces include RS-485 with OSDP support and Wiegand for connection to access controllers. The reader supports QR code recognition through RS-485 and multiple barcode formats, including Code 128, Interleaved 2 of 5, Matrix 2 of 5, Code 39, Codabar, Code 93 and UCC/EAN-128. The device is designed for wall mounting and provides IP65 protection, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +65°C.
